Crash with School Bus Injures 2

On Friday morning, a crash occurred after a man led police on a short chase. Around 8:30am, the man was speeding along I-26 at Greystone Blvd. When he reached Huger St, the man struck another car, sending it into a school bus.

The speeding car burst into flame and the driver tried to flee the scene but was arrested and hospitalized. The driver of the other car was also hospitalized after the crash. Fortunately, there were no children on the bus and the bus driver was uninjured.

Crash Causes Injuries

An early morning crash occurred along I-26, but details are few. The crash occurred near exit 208, but the number of vehicles involved has not been reported. Crews are still cleaning the wreckage.

One helicopter arrived on the scene to transport victims to the hospital, but it is unknown how many people were injured or hospitalized. Police are investigating as crews perform the cleanup.

Crash Kills 2, Injures 1

On Monday afternoon, a crash occurred in Rock Hill. A pickup truck was traveling along I-77 when it lost control and went off the roadway, running into some trees around 2:30pm.

Three men were in the truck at the time. Two of them were killed in the crash. A third occupant was injured to an unknown extent. Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

Crib Recall Reannounced

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has reannounced its August 2008 recall of Simplicity bassinets. 900,000 units have been sold between 2001 and 2008, but have not all been recovered.

The original recall stemmed from two children's strangulation deaths. Since the recall, however, two more children have been killed by the product, prompting the reannouncement.

Kraft Recalls Pizza

Kraft Foods has issued a voluntary recall of 7,500 frozen pizzas. According to the company, a soy product was left off the ingredients list. The ingredient can cause adverse reactions in anyone who is allergic.

The recall affects 17.2 ounce Jack's Original sausage and pepperoni pizzas and Tombstone Original 12 Pepperoni pizzas. The affected pizzas have product number 7192100519 and lot code 09320.
