man arrested for selling drugs to undercover officer

A 24-year-old man from Charleston was arrested on Saturday in Ocean City for allegedly attempting to sell Ecstasy to an undercover officer who was working for the Ocean City Police Department.

At around 11:45 p.m., the man allegedly met with the officer and sold him two pills of Ecstasy for $20 each. The man also offered to sell the officer a gram of cocaine for $60. Following the transaction, the man was arrested near Fourth Street.

The man was charged with distributing Ecstasy and cocaine. He is currently being detained in a local jail.
