A man who is wanted for questioning in a fatal hit-and-run in Orangeburg may be in Houston as he prepares to flee to Mexico, authorities said.

30 year-old Enrique Medina was involved in a head-on collision on Sunday evening that resulted in the other driver’s death. Medina abandoned his vehicle and acquired another car. He reportedly called his family from Atlanta on Monday, saying he was heading to Houston.

Medina is believed to be driving a white 2003 GMC Envoy with South Carolina plates DSS-252. Police officials think he may abandon this car before heading to the Mexican border.

Medina is 5ft 7” and weighs 170 pounds.
