The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating an accident that has led to the death of one motorcycle rider last Wednesday.

The motorcycle rider was a 43 year-old man.  The man was riding on his custom motorcycle when he collided with another vehicle.  The other vehicle had one driver and one passenger in it at the time of the accident.  Both of the occupants of the vehicle had to be taken to a hospital for their injuries,  although their injuries were considered minor.

The motorcycle rider was killed at the scene of the accident.  The rider was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
