South Carolina: 75 Pounds of Meat Recalled

A South Carolina establishment is recalling 75 pounds of fresh beef trim products that may have been contaminated with E. coli O157:H7.

The product recall are various sizes and a "Sell By" date of "06/02/09." The problem was discovered through sampling. People are urged to not eat this meat and see a physician if you are feeling ill. E. coli O157:H7 is a bacterium that can causebloddy diarrhea, dehydration, and in severe cases, kidney failure.
