Summerville Man Killed in Charleston Car Accident

car accident on Rivers Avenue left a 36-year-old man dead. 5 News (WCSC-TV/DT) reports that the accident occurred around 9:30 p.m. in front of Trident Techinical College. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently conducting an investigation into this incident.

The driver was thrown from his vehicle after hitting another car and flipping his SUV. The Summerville man would not stop for North Charleston police, according to News 5. The coroner is not releasing his name at this time. No injuries were recorded for the driver of the other vehicle.
