Steinberg Law Firm Supports the Fight Against Breast Cancer

Why donate to the American Cancer Society?

One in every two women diagnosed with breast cancer reaches out the American Cancer Society for help and support. They provide free information and services when and where people need it. Regardless of what time of day, they are there to assist and comfort families in need. That is why we aim to support and give to organizations that fund such a remarkable resource.

Some of their free services include but are not limited to:

  • Transportation assistance to and from treatment.
  • Free lodging for those having to travel far for treatment.
  • Workshops that teach beauty techniques to female cancer patients to help deal with appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment.
  • Emotional support programs that connect newly diagnosed breast cancer patients with survivors.
  • Cancer education classes.
  • An online cancer survivor’s support network.

Our firms stands behind the fight to cure and raise awareness for breast cancer.

Every year, our firm and its staff strives to raise awareness for breast cancer. For the last several years we’ve participated in fundraising activities, including walks and races.

We are very excited to announce that we’ll be participating in the Susan G. Komen for the Cure – Lowcountry Affiliate Race for the Cure again, as well as Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in North Charleston later this month. Both races are significant contributors to The American Cancer Society.

Our staff will also “Dress Down for Donations” every Friday in October, sporting pink Steinberg Law Firm T-shirts and jeans with weekly donations toward the cause. Stay tuned for photos of our staff participating in our fundraising activities while wearing pink this month!
