Dale E. Van Slambrook
Bankruptcy, Wills, Civil Legation & Personal Injury
Dale Van Slambrook was born in Savannah, Georgia, but growing up in an Air Force family, he lived all over the world. His family stayed in the Lowcountry long enough for Dale to graduate from Goose Creek High School in 1976. He attended Clemson University and earned his law degree in 1983 from the University of South Carolina in Columbia.
Soon after law school, Dale joined the Steinberg Law Firm's Goose Creek office. In the beginning of his law career, he practiced all types of law--personal injury, workers' compensation, social security, domestic, real estate closings and probate. Over time, Dale has come to focus primarily on personal injury cases and social security claims.
Dale is married to Darlene (formerly Johnson). They live in Goose Creek with their daughter, Christina, and sons, DJ and Zachary. He is an active member of the St. James United Methodist Church in Goose Creek.
Dale began running marathons in 1990 and has completed 20 26.2-mile events to date. Additionally, he is a triathlete (swim, bike, run) and has completed numerous events, including the Hawaii Ironman, Ironman USA and Ironman Florida.
