Car Hits Bicycle, Child Suffers Minor Injuries

At 7:30 a.m. this morning, a young Las Vegas child was riding his bike to school, when he was accidentally hit by a car.

Police say that the accident occurred on the west side of town, and it is not clear if the car was completely at fault for hitting the child. The child may have ridden his bicycle directly into the car’s path.

The driver of the car was not injured, and the child was taken to the hospital immediately and treated for minor, non-life-threatening injuries.

Bicycle accidents have the potential to cause serious harm to bike riders. If you or someone you love has been injured by a car while riding a bicycle, please contact the Charleston bicycle accident lawyers of the Steinberg Law Firm at 843-720-2800.
