Car Hits Bicycle, Child Suffers Minor Injuries

At 7:30 a.m. this morning, a young Las Vegas child was riding his bike to school, when he was accidentally hit by a car.

Police say that the accident occurred on the west side of town, and it is not clear if the car was completely at fault for hitting the child. The child may have ridden his bicycle directly into the car’s path.

The driver of the car was not injured, and the child was taken to the hospital immediately and treated for minor, non-life-threatening injuries.
