Announcing the Steinberg Law Firm 2021 Scholarship for Students Pursuing Higher Education

The Steinberg Law Firm is thrilled to announce the 2021 Steinberg Law Firm Scholarship. Graduating high school seniors from South Carolina are encouraged to submit an entry into the competition.

Five South Carolina seniors, who are planning on attending a four-year institution of higher learning in the Fall of 2021, will have the opportunity to receive a $1,000 scholarship by submitting a creative essay. Applicants may submit their entries beginning in January. Steinberg Law Firm will continue accepting submissions through April. After reviewing all entries, the firm will announce the five winners later this year, in June.

The Steinberg Law Firm Scholarship committee will choose recipients based on their 700-word essay submission, in addition to the applicant’s honors, awards, community involvement and school activities. This year the topic for the essay is Should the Electoral College Be Abolished?

To qualify, applicants must be a South Carolina resident and submit the following materials along with their 2021 scholarship application form:

• A 700-word essay;
• A current high school transcript; and
• A list of school activities, community involvement, special awards and honors.

The five students chosen for the Steinberg 2021 Scholarship will be able to use the scholarship funds to advance their planned higher education studies however they see fit. As was the case in previous years, the scholarships may be applied to any pursuit of higher education, not just legal studies.
