Man Suing Hospital for $25,000 After Death of Wife

A man has filed lawsuits against a Michigan hospital, health care group, and three doctors, after his forty-two-year-old wife died while giving birth to the couple’s triplets.

The woman had complications with her placenta, which caused her to lose large amounts of blood during the delivery. The husband of the woman is claiming that the hospital and doctors acted negligently in that they were ill-equipped to handle the blood loss and did not have enough blood on hand to save the woman.

The woman died during the birth, and her children were delivered by the doctors through cesarean section. The man is asking for $25,000 in emotional and physical damages.
