Soldier Killed in Autobahn Crash
A soldier from Woodruff, South Carolina was killed in a car crash in Germany over the weekend.
The mother of Specialist Dustin Simmons, Lynn Rangel, confirmed that her son was in a car that crashed on Germany’s Autobahn Saturday. “[Dustin] was in the back seat asleep,” said Rangel.
“They went airborne on the Autobahn, but Dustin was the only one to get killed. It was instant. He didn’t suffer… They were going to a cookout for a fallen soldier who died.”
Simmons leaves behind a wife and young child. Funeral services have not yet been scheduled.
