Chucks friend Cush, a well-known figure in Charleston, SC, has been a voice of the community for years.
As a radio personality for 101.7 Chuck FM, Cush is known for his friendly, down-to-earth demeanor, vibrant personality, and love for the Lowcountry. His charisma, wit, and relatable approach have made him a fan favorite, and his influence extends far beyond the airwaves. Whether he’s hosting events, supporting local causes, or engaging with listeners, Cush is a trusted figure in the Charleston area.
Cush has been in radio across the country, starting in 1991 in Hanover, PA. Since then, he has worked in radio in Virginia Beach, VA, Ocean City, MD; Greensboro, NC; and Orlando before landing here in the Lowcountry over six years ago.
The father of four girls, he loves to talk about his family. He is also the afternoon/evening drivetime co-host of the Kickin’ Country 92.5 Hunter & Cush Take on the World show. At 6’5”, Cush towers over his co-host Hunter, but the two buds make a great team every Monday – through Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm.
