This month, we are overjoyed to celebrate Zelda’s remarkable 25th anniversary. Zelda’s journey is full of perseverance, kindness, and unwavering dedication: a story woven into every corner of our firm. 

She has been our steady anchor through seasons of change, including helping guide us from our longtime Charleston office to our new home in North Charleston. Zelda has seen and shaped so many milestones and memories here. All of us at Steinberg Law Firm are deeply grateful for the decades we’ve shared with her, and for the countless ways she’s made our workplace and our lives brighter.

Zelda joined Steinberg Law Firm in 1999 and quickly became more than just a valued employee; she is a true cornerstone of our client support and office operations. 

A Remarkable Journey: Perseverance, Strength, and Service

Raised during the 1960s and 1970s, she spent years living above a neighborhood bar and endured real hardships within her family. Zelda’s story is one of grit and determination. 

 As a young girl with no family money or name recognition, she relied on perseverance, education, and practical office training to chart her own path. Through these qualities, Zelda rose to become a leader in firm administration, guiding the day-to-day operations of a longstanding Charleston law firm.

Colleagues say Zelda’s institutional knowledge and steady presence have anchored the firm through times of growth and change. Whether she’s assisting with Human Resources, supporting attorneys as a paralegal, or stepping up as a troubleshooter, Zelda has been the teammate to turn to.

Celebrating Service During National Women’s Month

Zelda’s 25th anniversary with Steinberg Law Firm falls during National Women’s Month, a fitting time to reflect on the essential contributions of women in law and in the broader Lowcountry community. As the firm has grown and modernized, Zelda has remained a constant, blending new technology and systems with the culture of caring that defines our practice.

Looking back on her career, Zelda shared, “Not everyone gets to stay in one place long enough to see multiple generations of clients and coworkers come through the door. It has been meaningful to be part of that story for so many years.”

A Lasting Impact
