
Dirt Bike Rider Killed in Flo. Co. Accident

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal Florence County car accident. The accident took place around 2 a.m. Saturday on Davis Street. According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, Samuel Wilson Jr. was driving his 2003 Dodge pickup truck, attempting to turn into a parking lot when Terrence Hannah, 20, who was riding a dirt bike, collided with the passenger side door.
Hannah was not wearing a helmet and was transported in a private vehicle to Lake City Community Hospital. Hannah died from his injuries around 5:10 that morning.
Police officers discovered that the dirt bike was not street legal, and did not have headlights.
