Driver Killed in Pee Dee Crash

A man is dead after his a vehicle struck his pick-up trucking Pee Dee.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. on US-52 near Cashua Drive in Florence County, South Carolina. Authorities say the three-vehicle collision occurred when a car was attempting to navigate a turn onto Cashua from US-52 and was rear-ended by another car. The second vehicle veered to the right and struck a pickup truck.

Florence County Coroner Bubba Matthews identified the driver of the pickup truck as 34 year-old Charles C. Cameron of Darlington County. Cameron was pronounced dead at the scene.
