Police are looking for a Hispanic male, who left the scene of a two-car collision, which left a Norway man dead early Sunday morning.

41 year-old Christopher Allen Wood, of Willow Swamp Road, died following a two-car collision, which took place around 2:15 a.m. Sunday.

Lance Cpl. Josef Robinson of the South Carolina Highway Patrol said Enrique Medina, 30, of 438 Atbrad Road, was traveling in a 2000 Chevy pickup on secondary road 162. Police say Medina drove his car across the center line and struck Wood head-on.

Robinson said Wood sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.

Medina fled the scene. “At this time we are looking for a Hispanic male,” said Robinson.

Orangeburg County Coroner Samuetta Marshall said Wood died of blunt force trauma sustained in the motor vehicle accident.
