One injured in three-car accident

According to Kanawha County Fire Coordinator C.W. Sigman, a three-vehicle accident seriously injured one person Thursday morning.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Corridor G and Sand Plant Road near Alum Creek around 7:30 AM in the northbound lanes.

One car slid over the hill, trapping the passenger inside. The passenger sustained injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
