Toddler in serious condition pool injury expected to recover

A Horry County toddler seriously injured in a pool accident is expected to make a recovery.  The boy was hospitalized after his father found him floating face-down in a pool early Monday morning.  Emergency responders said when they arrived at the family's Dandelion Lane home at 7:45 on Monday morning, they found the toddler's father desperately trying to revive the boy.

The boy was taken to the Medical University of South Carolina for treatment.  While the initial prognosis was not good, the toddler healed much more quickly than expected, and medical professionals have high hopes for his recovery.
