Toddler Injured by Truck

Personal Injury Lawyers Representing Charleston & nearby areas of South Carolina

Wednesday night in Bamburg, a 2-1/2 year old girl was hit by a truck on US 301 N. Police responded to the accident at 7:55pm outside the New China restaurant. The girl was then flown to the Medical University of South Carolina-Charleston.

Police say that the truck driver will not be charged for the accident. He was traveling at 10mph when the girl ran out in front of him. Instead the investigation will focus on why the girl was unsupervised at the time.

Accidents can often be more difficult to handle when young children are involved. If you or someone you know has been injured in an accident, contact the Charleston personal injury attorneys of The Steinberg Law Firm at 843-720-2800.
