Woman Hits Wild Hog on Highway

On Tuesday morning in West Ashley, a strange accident occurred on SC Highway 61 just before rush hour. A wild, 200 pound hog made its way onto the highway and was struck by a woman in her car at 6:30.

The hog died at the scene, but the woman was uninjured in the crash. Strange accidents like this may not happen often, but they do happen. In many cases they stem from someone’s negligence.
