
Woman Killed After South Carolina Accident
A woman was killed Monday evening in a South Carolina car crash.
According to officials with the Anderson County Coroner's Office, 33 year-old Kimberly Gail Rumsey, was the only person involved in the single-vehicle accident. Her car overturned on the side of the roadway. Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore said the crash occurred on Elberton Highway west of Iva, shortly before 5:00 p.m.
Rumsey was pronounced dead shortly after 7:00 p.m. The cause of death was noted as chest trauma. She was transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital by a LifeFlight helicopter.
Rumsey lived on Elberton Highway in Iva, Shore said.
