Youth Injured on Highway 707

A youth was injured while trying to cross Highway 707 on Thursday in Socastee. The collision occurred around 7pm near Socastee High School when the youth was hit by a truck.

The youth was flown to the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston after the collision. However, no information was released about the condition or identity of the youth.
