Zelda Rouse, Legal Administrator, Honored at Black Excellence Brunch for Black History Month

February is Black History Month, a time to celebrate the achievements of African Americans in U.S. history. It is also a time to honor Black history and extraordinary individuals who overcame hardships to achieve greatness for the Black community. The Steinberg Law Firm celebrates and supports Black History month each year, and this year is proud to announce the firm’s Legal Administrator, Zelda Rouse, as an honoree at the Blue Note Bistro Black Excellence Brunch.

This year is the Blue Note Bistro’s 2nd Annual Black Excellence Brunch, which began in February of 2021. During this time of year, the Blue Note Bistro remembers past heroes and acknowledges the accomplishments of modern-day trailblazers in the local Black Community. This year, Zelda Rouse was nominated by her peers in the Charleston community and is selected as an honoree at the Black Excellence Brunch to be held on February 27, 2022, at the Harbour Club at WestEdge in Charleston. In support of Black History month and Zelda Rouse, the Steinberg Law Firm has additionally donated $1,000 to serve as a sponsor of the brunch.

Zelda Rouse has been with the Steinberg Law Firm for over 20 years. She started at the law firm as a certified paralegal. After earning her Master’s degree in 2014, she became the firm’s first African American Legal Administrator. Zelda is also an accomplished business owner and owns and operates Zenith Consulting & Paralegal Services, LLC.

Zelda is not only a leader at the Steinberg Law Firm but is also a well-loved and admired leader in the community. She is a member of the Royal Missionary Baptist Church and volunteers her free time with Charleston Youth Summit, Vernessa Frasier Moore Scholarship Committee, and the Miss Cancer Warrior Organization. Through her employment with the firm, Zelda has also participated in community service events with Meals on Wheels-Summerville and Neighbors Together (formerly Tri-County Family Ministries).

The Steinberg Law Firm is proud of Zelda and all she has done for the community and looks forward to watching her career and accomplishments grow.
