Steinberg Law Firm is offering you the opportunity to receive a scholarship to support your higher education. Five South Carolina graduating seniors who plan to attend a four year institution of higher learning in the fall will receive a $1,000 scholarship this year by submitting a creative entry that warns the dangers of texting and driving.
Selection of scholarship winners will be based on school activities, special honors and awards, community involvement and most of all: your story.
How to Apply
To be considered, applicants must submit the following materials with their 2018 application form:
An up-to-date high school transcript.
A creative entry that warns of the dangers of texting and distracted driving.
The entry can use a creative format such as a video, audio recording, poem, painting, essay or creative writing piece. Essays are limited to 700 words with videos or recordings limited to under three minutes.
While reaching for creativity, stay grounded in the subject. The creative entry must be uploaded with the rest of the supplemental materials.
Start of submission: February 26, 2018 Deadline of submission: April 26, 2018
Scholarship recipients will be announced at each school’s year end award ceremony. If a school does not have such a ceremony, the respective scholarship winner will be notified no later than June 4th.
We are extremely excited to view all of the applications for the 2018 Steinberg scholarship. Best of luck!
