Through its deep roots in the community, the law firm has developed long lasting relationships with many of the local media personalities include Belinda Parker, or, BP.
Belinda Parker, widely recognized as "BP" on Lowcountry radio, is a proud native of South Carolina.
Growing up in Barnwell, her dream of being on the radio began when she was 15 years old in junior high school. From that dream, she has built a successful radio career that spans over two decades.
In 2000, BP joined WMGL in Charleston as a mid-day host and Assistant Program Director. Two years later, she was appointed Program Director at WXTC, and in 2005, she took on the dual role of Program Director and Morning Show Host at WJNI. Her popular show, “Block Party with BP,” now airs in Columbia on WWDM and Charleston’s Star 99.7 (WXST), known as The People’s Station.
With her vibrant personality and passion for motivating her audience, BP continues to energize listeners in the afternoons and evenings across the Lowcountry. You can tune in to her show on Star 99.7, Monday through Saturday from 3 PM to 8 PM.
Star 99.7 FM is owned and operated locally by Charleston Radio Group. Serving the Lowcountry for over 10 years, the group also counts 101.7 Chuck FM, 92.5 Kickin’ Country, 95.9 The Mix, 99.3 The Box, and 100.1 Heaven in its broadcast stable.
