Attorney Malcolm Crosland of the Steinberg Law Firm Elected President of Workers’ Injury Law and Advocacy Group

The Steinberg Law Firm is proud to announce the recent election of Attorney Malcolm Crosland to the Workers’ Injury Law and Advocacy Group (WILG). Founded in 1995, WILG is a national non-profit organization committed to advancing the interests of millions of workers and their families who suffer from workplace injuries and illnesses.

Workers’ Injury Law and Advocacy Group (WILG) acts primarily to assist attorneys and non-profit groups in advocating the rights of injured workers through education, communication, research and information gathering. WILG is the home base for the country’s leading legal experts, where they exchange information, conduct research and work to advance the progress surrounding work-related incidents. In 2020, the group added a special focus to COVID-19 related matters, including implementing a program that educates employees about the available workers’ compensation resources.

Attorney Crosland was a fitting choice to fill the one-year role of president. For the past 34 years, Crosland has unceasingly advocated on behalf of injured workers. Throughout this time, he filled a number of leadership roles with WILG, including serving on the organization’s executive leadership team. Since 1986, Crosland has been a valued member of the Steinberg Law Firm team, representing clients in their claims for benefits and working to protect and expand the South Carolina workers’ compensation system to ensure it adequately addressed injured workers’ needs.
