Steinberg Law Firm: Celebrating 19 Years as Summerville Neighbors
For almost two decades, Summerville has been more than just a business location for Steinberg Law Firm; it’s been home. As we approach our 100th anniversary serving South Carolina, our roots in this charming town grow even deeper.
Recently, we had the unique pleasure of sharing a few of our very favorite Summerville spots with the Palmetto Life team. That experience was a wonderful reminder of why we’re so honored to live and work right here among our friends and neighbors.
Our Favorite Summerville Staples
When you think of the heart of Summerville, places like Coastal Coffee Roasters probably come to mind. It’s more than just a great place for your morning cup; it’s a true community gathering spot.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of coming together for events like Coffee with a Cop, where local residents and first responders have honest conversations and build relationships that make our town feel a little smaller, a little safer, and a lot friendlier. Hosting and attending these events is one way we strive to give back to a community that means so much to us.

You’ll also find us enjoying Summerville’s natural beauty at Azalea Park. Whether we’re unwinding by the tranquil pond, admiring the turtles, or just taking a stroll among the azaleas, it’s a spot that perfectly captures the peaceful pace and warmth of our town.
And of course, no visit downtown is complete without spending some time at Hutchinson Square, the true heart of Summerville. There’s a buzz here that never gets old, whether it’s a lively community event or a quiet afternoon chatting with locals.
Real People, Your Neighbors: Not Just Your Lawyers
At Steinberg Law Firm, we’re more than attorneys. We’re your neighbors, the people you’ll see at the Saturday farmers market or catching up with friends over a glass of wine.
Kelly Alfreds and Steven Goldberg shared what makes Summerville so special to us. Steven, who enjoys stopping by Accent on Wine, spoke about the value of supporting our local businesses and the importance of staying connected to the community we serve.

Finally, attorney and partner, Catie Meehan, was spotted with an interviewer at beautiful Azalea Park. She reflected on just how much Summerville has grown and blossomed over the past 19 years, welcoming new faces, new businesses, and new families while still keeping the spirit of a close-knit community. That growth means more opportunity, but also new challenges, especially as our town’s roads and neighborhoods become busier.

Our Legacy: Nearly 100 Years of Community Commitment
As we close in on our 100th anniversary as a law firm, our pledge to Summerville and to South Carolina has never been stronger. Over the years, our commitment has remained the same: to be there for our neighbors inside and outside the courtroom. Whether we’re supporting local nonprofits, volunteering at area schools, or advocating fiercely for our clients’ rights, we do it because this is our home, too.
If you spot any of us around town, please say hello. We’re always glad to see familiar faces and new ones, too. Summerville is special because of the people who call it home, and we’re honored to be a part of this vibrant, growing community.
